Hand in Glove

Leela Clarke
Leela Clarke is a Bristol-based visual arts producer, writer, communications freelancer and co-founder of Hand in Glove. She is particularly interested in collaborative forms of production and art in the public realm. Her writing has been published by Aesthetica Magazine, Axisweb, Nom de Strip, this is tomorrow and Photomonitor.

Cara Lockley
Cara Lockley is a producer based in Bristol, specialising in the production and manipulation of situations for the commissioning of visual art. Often working in collaboration with artists her practice deals with the notions of encounter, intervention, and temporality. She engages with these fields of interest through the initiation, development and delivery of arts and performance projects.

Dominique Hill
Dominique Hill is a Bristol-based artist and art producer with a passion for challenging boundaries and promoting work which crosses the borders of all artistic disciplines, including painting, music, performance and writing. After graduating from the University of Reading, she co-founded Hand in Glove in 2009 to help forge new relations between artists and audiences.

Rowan Lear
Rowan Lear is an artist, writer and producer. Moving between making, writing, curating, education and research, her practice takes different forms but is consistently rigorous, political and resonant. She writes critical reviews, exhibition texts and catalogue essays; co-directs the artist-led Bristol Biennial; and teaches at Ffotogallery, Cardiff.
